Know what actually passes
Check the profit target, required trading days, consistency or best-day rules, and whether positions must be closed before an objective is recognised.
A funded-trader evaluation is not only a profit target. It is a rule-management exercise. TCH helps you translate the provider's limits into a process you can understand, plan and review before you commit to an account.
Provider information checked 3 October 2026. Rules, prices, availability and payout/reward terms can change.
The industry uses terms such as challenge, funded account and instant funding, but the legal and trading structure differs by provider. Some programmes use simulated accounts throughout. Always read the current agreement and rulebook rather than relying on a social-media summary.
Check the profit target, required trading days, consistency or best-day rules, and whether positions must be closed before an objective is recognised.
Daily loss and maximum loss can be calculated differently across programmes. Open P/L, commissions, swaps, reset times and trailing floors can matter.
Reaching profit is not always the same as payout eligibility. Check waiting periods, profitable-day rules, consistency, KYC, conduct reviews and other conditions.
These simplified diagrams explain the concept only. Each provider may calculate drawdown differently, so always check the provider dashboard and rulebook for the live breach level.
The loss floor stays fixed at the starting reference level. It does not rise as performance rises.
The loss floor can move up as balance or equity rises, until the provider says it stops or locks.
Explore each provider and compare its current programme rules before purchasing an evaluation.
ⓘ Always review each provider’s rules, objectives and drawdown model before purchasing a challenge.
Use this as a research checklist. A lower fee or larger headline account size does not tell you whether the programme rules suit your process.
Enter the figures from the exact programme you are considering. The planner does not recommend a risk percentage — the risk field is your own chosen planning input.
A challenge pass is useful evidence, but the next phase can have its own rules. Keep reviewing compliance, risk, execution quality and any payout/reward conditions instead of treating the pass as permission to increase risk.
Know the current daily and overall floor before every session. The provider's live metric is the authoritative figure.
Journal rule adherence, not only P/L. A profitable day can still reveal poor process or a rule-management weakness.
Use TCH Results to record challenge passes, funded-account milestones, payouts/rewards and development milestones with evidence and context.
Funded-trader programmes involve fees, rules and the risk of losing access to an account. Trading itself can result in losses. TCH content is educational and is not personalised financial advice or a guarantee of performance.
